What is a tag?

A note or keyword that describes the file it is attached to.

Do you move my files?

Dclutter only has read-only access to files. It wont move or modify anything.

Why not just search?

Search is fantastic when it works. However for search to be truely effective you need to master writing a search query. Dclutters method of filtering with descriptive tags is more intuitive.

Can I add my own tags?

Absolutely.

Can I replace tags?

Yes. You can remove tags individual from files and add new ones. Or if you want you can bulk replace a tag entirely.
